I am not sure if this is all I have to do to get in. Please respond. All I did was write my name and put in the subject which is 40 Day prayer.

Hi Cynthia, this is the our discussion board, for the 40-Prayer Challenge. Do you have the book? I will be putting in a daily thought and invite you to respond. If you don't have the book, I'll be at RCC tomorrow evening I do have a few the price is $7.00. I did send out a copy of chapter 1 and that was today's post. I'm going to try to up load reading two on this sight, or you can give me your email address and I'll send it to you.

"Get Ready" is a reminder of the importance of spending time in prayer and how God rewards those that seek Him . During our 40 day prayer journey my goal is to seek God no matter how big or small the circumstances and remain alert as He speaks to me through the scriptures and or people.

Today's chapter is "Amazing Things." The challenge here is to consecrate myself wholly, completely to God, everything, every situation, everything. Even when I am replying, I hear Holy Spirit say to me, "The world is too much with us." I know this is a line from a Victorian poem; but I also know that He is revealing even more than a line to me. Today's challenge is for me to bring every issue (in my mind, heart, etc.) to Him so that I release it into His care and keeping. . .to give Him the weights and sins that so easily beset us." Today my eyes, ears, mouth, and heart are tuned into His "AMAZING" frequency.
Yesterday's journey involved being "established" and "divine appointments. I went to pay a bill at a banking institution and came out with a no interest rate for over a year and the opportunity to pray for a young banker and his family. Glory to God!
Roberta, what I am doing wrong here. Each time I try to post it is asking me to create a new post.

I am so blessed by today's reading...the Lord is calling us to deeper levels of consecration...not so there is less of us, but so there is MORE of Him!

Sandy,
Not sure...I'm a new driver, I've learned how to establish a thread and respond. I was telling Pastor Pat on last night, that I need to find out how we can respond underneath the person we want to respond to. I'll have more time to figure that out this weekend. When I did "Black Board" when in college, all I did was respond, someone else established the group. :-)
