"I wish that all the Lord's people were prophets." Numbers 11:29
This chapter is so important. We realize, after reading it, the importance of our voices to be used for blessing and establishing God's Kingdom on the earth. There is a Scripture that reminds us that by our words we are justified and by our words we are condemned. We even bless ourselves, our families, and others by the words that we speak. Our words reveal the condition of our hearts. Even as I am typing I realize why it is so important to bless those who consider themselves our enemies. When we keep our words/hearts right--we are establishing Kingdom on the earth. God loves us all. We are releasing His love, mercy, kindness, goodness, etc.
I word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a silver bowl. No matter what our spheres of influence may be we have the privilege of speaking into lives that establish Kingdom eternity or not. If we are not speaking Kingdom, then we are probably speaking curses. Words not spoken still have power because they come from the heart. Even now we are being trained to speak with prophetic boldness into the lives of others.
Last night at prayer each prayer request that was received was prayed for by at least three prayer warriors. What fervor, what power, what love went to praying for those who asked us to be agree with them for God's love, power, alignment, blessing to re released. There was a tangible anointing and love released in that room up to Heaven and to the people making the request. The more we pray, the more prophetic we become. The less we pray the more pathetic we become.
Our words have the potential to change people's lives by helping people discover their identity and destiny in Christ Jesus. By our words, we sow into others lives so they can reap a good harvest. The fruit of their lives is our reward. Intercession is not done to reap a reward; is is a by product for obeying God.
I am excited for you. I am excited because God is not just doing a new thing in this season. Prayer is not just doing a good thing. We are doing a God thing. This is harvest time. This is a time of great reaping. This is a time the saints who have gone before us are rallying in Heaven and praying with is for--This is a time of great in-gathering. Multitudes of souls are being born again. Prodigals are coming home. Marriages are being restored and made stronger. The church is becoming His Church. Let's keep speaking the right words because it is the right time.
Prayer is the way we recognize potential in others.
