"On the seventh day march around the city seven times."
Prayer is the difference between us fighting for God, and God fighting for us.
"Who is doing this--you or Me?" If your cause is ordained by God then it's His battle, not yours. It's His victory to win, not yours. Sometimes God shows up, sometimes God shows off!
I believe as Mark Batterson does: "I believe in providence. I believe there is a God in Heaven Who directs our steps, Who prepares good things in advance, Who causes all things to work together for good, Who fights our battles for us! And if you pray through, there will be a breakthrough!
What if. . .?Ir's always too soon to quit! What is the other option?
Id you keep circling the walls will come down. If you pray through, you will experience breakthrough! I have done a lot of quoting from the book we are reading for our 40 Day Pray Challenge. I am encouraging myself in the Lord. I am encouraging myself as I read about the people who obeyed God. I am encouraging myself, because of the goodness and the breakthrough that God is assuring me I will experience if I don't quit.
If you con't get out of the boat, you will never walk on water.

Great words of encouragement Sandi.
When I read "On the seventh day they marched around the city seven times". I immediately think about the seven times we walked around RCC at the end of our first prayer walk. We had plastic party horns that we used to make our shout, and I believe God took our prophetic stance and opened the heavens around RCC. My first year as prayer director I kept saying, "God what is it that keeps us from going to the next level?" I wasn't looking to blame a person or circumstance, God often forms questions in our minds, that He already knows the answer to, but must ask and pray for them to be revealed. On the morning of our first walk around the building, we found a dead bird, I think that heightened our spiritual discernment, on our sixth time around a shriveled up lime, and newer lime we found. Now I knew nothing about these items, but it because we had a group of people walking around the building, who had insight to these acts against God's church. God prepared us for this last day by having people in our group who had experienced these same form of witchcraft against their previous church, apparently, not uncommon. We stood, "flat footed" against the powers of darkness, against the power of witch craft and decreed to the God of heaven, that we will make an impact in this region for His glory. The gates of hell will not prevail against RCC, their schemes were revealed as marched around the physical building on the seventh time rendering the schemes of the enemy of no affect, by the blood of Jesus.
"If Israel had stopped circling Jerico, they would have forfeited their first victory in the Promise Land. We've prayed circles around RCC at the end of every seven week prayer walk. I believe each time we do it, we push back the darkness and God takes us to another level. He reveals more of His plan for what He wants to do in the Region.
