Scripture: "Say to the mountain, 'Move from here to there.' and it will move." Matthew 17:20
I believe today is a turning point in our Prayer Journey--we are being called into move active prayer. We are called to a time when we magnify the Lord with our own mouths. SAY, not think, SAY. Out of your belly, through your mouth, shall flow rivers of living water. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, he spoke to his adversary. He said what the word says. SAY. SPEAK, not just think. His weapons were not carnal. He released the two edged sword, God's Word. It's time to stop talking to God about our problems and start talking TO our problems about the greatness of God.
We are already victors, conquerors, we are MORE than conquerors. The battle is the Lord's; he has already won the victory. We are enforcing it with the words of our mouths and the meditations of our heart. Our offense is to hit our knees and use our secret weapons. Two of them of the Love of God in our hearts, and Forgiveness. We pray for our adversaries, our enemies. After all God does not wish that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance, and choose Him as Lord and Savior. Done properly, we really do want others to be blessed, prosper, and members of our eternal family.
There will always be Pharaohs who challenge our destiny. Favor includes blessings, prosperity, and the envy of others. Prayer has the power to change the heart of the Pharaohs. The more opposition, the more prayer. Actually this builds up our stamina, tenacity, persistence, and faith in God's ability in us.
Departing Thought: Quit talking to God about you problem and start talking to you problem about God. If He did for one, He will do it for you.
