Scripture: One day around three in the afternoon he had a vision. Act 10:3
I love to invest in other people's dreams. I have yet to write the size checks that I really that I desire--checks that will impact families, congregations, cities, and nations, but I have put earnest "money" on some of them. I remember a time, not too far in the past, where I was having a huge provision challenge. Our house note needed to be paid OR. . .I remember going to church that day and I said to my husband when I come home I will have the money for the house note. Actually, God faith spoke through my mouth and heart. And when I came home that day I not only had the money, but I had a tithe on the money that was given to me.
Even as I am typing this God is reminding me of other "One Day" days that He has given me. Another time, I needed serious work done on my car. I needed %700. God gave me 7 brand new, crisp one hundred dollar bills in my bill box. One person told me, you probably put that money in that box and forgot that you put it there. Really? Have you ever "misplaced" $700 because you had so much that you could place it some place and forget it? As I think about it, every day is an opportunity to hear God's voice and invest in someone else's "One Day." Give and it shall be given unto you. Give, no strings attached. . .Promise. Pray. Provision. Refuse to let your budget determine your vision/dream.
Departing thoughts: God can accomplish more in one day than you can accomplish in a lifetime.

Sandy you are so right. With us it seems like God gives us what we need before we know we need it. My husband and I have received a couple of checks in the mail. We thought it was going to be extra money, but an unexpected expense always came. One year we were audited and had to pay more taxes. We didn't know it was coming but God did and we had the money to pay it. Thank God He has always provided for all of our needs. I also truly believe that God blesses us so that we can be a blessing to others. We are to give when it's easy and when it's not so easy, for it's in the not so easy times that our faith is truly stretched and we get the largest return on our investment.

Robin, that is a great testimony of God's faithfulness. I received a new insight on the word testimony from Dutch Sheet this past weekend at the Awakening Conf. He said our testimony refreshes God's presence, as to say "do it again, God". Dutch Sheet said, "It holds God in rememberance of His Word." On our Christian journey we sometimes need to be reminded that God, did it before He can do it again.
As I was paying my tithes and thinking about Tria's tuition, her housing, and all the other things we needed to pay, and the enemy was reminding me constantly, and I was starting to get anxious. One of the reading over the past two weeks encouraged us to speak to the 90%, something I have done before, but the enemy was trying to keep me disorientated and off balance. I spoke to the 90% every bill was paid there were no text from Chase bank :-)
